I love this! We have an art gallery just a few blocks away from home that we like to visit every few months, but what a treat to have a docent guided tour - I'm going to look into that at our gallery.

I have just started following your fun. Loved your post and pics. We have a local museum in our itty bitty town that does amazing art programs with kids. I love it. What I love most is that my 4 year old thinks of museums as a public, accessible and interesting place. I am just learning that as an adult. I was always intimidated as a child. We recently visited the Gees Bend exhibit in a neighboring town. Inspiring.

Love your new banner!

Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely fiber arts being art. Love that coiling in the 2nd picture. Hmmm...Sheila Hicks? I've heard the name; close to -- years ago in my textile design class. Wonderful. Glad you got to go. Wish our homeschool co-op did art field trips. That would be fun!

Very interesting! Love the new look and header! :)

oooo, those creations look amazing.

ooo, I would have loved to go to this. And your picture, as usual, are beautiful. My 7yo son and I are taking a crochet/knitting/embroidery class.

This looks like great stuff! We have a drop spindle and spinning field trip planned for Friday. My fiber crazed daughter and I are really looking forward to it.

That looks like an amazing exhibition. We went to a fibre exhibition recently and it was quite dull and there was nothing we could touch or experience like the forest or weaving above. How fantastic for young people to be able to interact with art that way.
