Here we come, all the way from Northern California. Looking for a few of the cool rocks to be found in Idaho. We can't wait!
We would appreciate any info. on rock hunting in Idaho.

I am such a rock head!
I loved this...Xxx

I just love that ring of stones with the line through them. It feels kind of magical, like a secret art etched into the earth itself. Inspiring, how simple things, when observed from the right angle, can be positively inspiring.

Those rocks, those rocks! Where are you again? I need to move to where we can find those rocks! The circle photo is just amazing.

I love rock hunting. I actually still have a collection of rocks from every state I have lived and places I have hiked. The boys always ask - tell me the story of where you found this rock, again, mom.

But here, nothing that colorful or interesting. Rocks are rocks.

We (my boys and I) are so amazed by your rocks.

I love rivers. My favorite outings always involve rivers. And for the boys, that means rocks. I love your lined-rock creation. Mother earth is the finest of artists.

I've never seen such cool rocks!

I love love love rocks with stripes - my son looks for them for me, but now I know how to arrange them (what a great idea!). I love heart shaped rocks too - I keep a small collection on the ledge above my kitchen sink - they make me happy while doing dishes. Glad you and yours had fun in the great outdoors.

I love collecting rocks too. Of course, we haven't managed to find such pretty ones as those around here yet. I like the idea of looking for specific types - increases the treasure-hunting fun. Sounds like you had a nice weekend!

I think those sentiments were going around this weekend, and believe me, it is so so nice to hear. Its amazing how warmer weather just perks people right up! Glad you and your kids are having fun. Those rocks look cool!
